NRAS Application Guide.

The following guide is intended to assist you in completing an application for a property under the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS).

An application involves several steps to be completed:

  1. Fill out a Tenant Consent Form

  2. Compile your Income Evidence

  3. Complete a Tenant Income Assessment Form

  4. Attach the forms and income evidence to your application through 2Apply

Before you get started

Please be aware that NRAS applications can be lengthy and will require you to compile lots of information. If you are completing this process on a computer, it is advised to create a folder to store all of your documents in so you can return to the application if you are interrupted.

Due to the large volume of applications received and the time required to process them, we are unfortunately unable to assist with completion of paperwork.

For many people, the most difficult part comes at Step 3 with completing the Tenant Income Assessment form. If you are struggling with this part, do the best that you can and ensure that you submit your income evidence. If your application is shortlisted by the Landlord, we can assist you with amending this form if required.
